Iran's President Masoud Pezeshkian is scheduled to meet with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin while attending the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation summit next week in Kyrgyzstan, Iranian state media reported.
Iran's ambassador to Russia Kazem Jalali said Pezeshkian "will attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit in Kyrgyzstan, where he will have his sixth meeting" with Putin, the official IRNA news agency reported on Wednesday.
The summit will take place next Tuesday in Bishkek, with the two leaders' scheduled meeting coming as Iran remains at Iran war the United States since February 28.
